not really. but i’ve wanted to blow up some random photos i’ve taken and see how they turn out. i went to the local kinkos and figured out that i could blow up some of the images to poster-size, in black and white, on the cheap route, for only 5 bucks a pop. 3 of the 6 turned out alright. here they are.

is sweet. i’m beginning to take better notice of watches these days. i am hoping to get a nice watch in the next couple years that will last me a lifetime. yesterday at work, i saw a customer’s watch and proceeded to ask about it. i’m glad i asked.
his watch was a Bathys.
and turns out it has a kind of cool story behind it. designed by John Patterson, a surfer in Kauai, the watches are made to survive extreme conditions. from Bathys website:
“My watches are designed to work regardless of the amount of abuse they have to take. Here in Hawai’i you might be at 13,000 feet up Mauna Kea one day and 100 feet underwater the next. There’s not many places on Earth where such extremes are a routine part of life.”
Aesthetically the watches are on point. And durable? I might have to test one out since you can get the shown design for $650.
